The 2018 Honda Insight is a hybrid compact sedan that breaks free from the lookalike mold of its competitors. The 2018 Honda Insight is no one trick pony. The name was used on the first hybrid vehicle sold in America and this time around it's back to reclaim its former glory. The Insight is entering its third generation with plenty of new technology, all-new unique exterior design, and stellar hybrid fuel efficiency.
This is an entirely new vehicle from the inside out. The 2019 Honda Insight gets 55 mpg in the city on the LX and EX-trims. It has a 1.5 Liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that's partnered with a two-motor hybrid system. A button in the cabin toggles between ECON and SPORTS mode for a more spirited driving experience than other hybrid vehicles. In the safety department, the Honda Insight comes with a Lane Watch live video camera that helps increase your passenger side visibility and Traffic Sign Recognition to assist the driver with speed limits and upcoming changes to driving conditions. So many other safety features come standard with the Honda Sensing package, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation and Collision Mitigation Braking.
