2023 Honda CR-V

For the 2023 model year, Honda lengthens the CR-V's wheelbase and widens its stance, giving it a more assertive silhouette than previous models. On the EX, these exterior updates pair with full LED headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. With the Sport Hybrid, you can take advantage of roof rails and notice chrome dual exhaust finishers. The EX-L adds a power-operated tailgate, and the Sport Touring Hybrid features 19-inch gloss-black wheels. Stunning shades like Radiant Red, Still Night, and Urban Gray complete the CR-V's look.

With the 2023 CR-V, you can go with a conventional gas engine or a hybrid powertrain. The EX and EX-L models have an in-line four-cylinder engine with an output of 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. Honda equips the Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid with an in-line four-cylinder engine capable of producing 145 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. These models also come with an electric motor that puts out 181 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder engine and electric motor give the Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid a total horsepower of 204.

Honda pairs the conventional powertrain with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while hybrid models get an electronic CVT featuring B-Range shift and deceleration selectors. Both systems deliver seamless gear shifts for precise acceleration and sharp handling. A two-wheel-drive system comes standard in lower trims, or you can upgrade to Honda's Real Time All-Wheel-Drive system, which comes standard in the Sport Touring Hybrid. This innovative system continuously monitors driving conditions to accurately calculate how much torque to send to the rear wheels, depending on changes in weather and terrain.
